JUNIOR ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST (1 position) Company: Sinohydro Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd
Site location: Baleh Hydroelectric Power Plant, Kapit, Sarawak.
Employability term: 1-year Contract (will renew based on work performance and work needs).
Salary and benefit: RM5000, accommodation and transportation to site will be covered.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
• Malaysian only, preferably male.
• Degree in Geology, Geoscience or equivalent.
• Good work ethics, eager to learn and good site evaluation.
• Positive attitude, excellent in communication and outgoing.
• Familiar (basic) with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Rocscience DIPS, SWedge and RocTopple.
• Preferably with minimum 1 years working experience in related field. However, fresh graduate with energetic and enthusiastic attitude is encouraged to apply.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Cataloging slope features (discontinuities) and geometry on-site.
• Inspecting slope hazard and timely reporting to principal engineer
• Evaluating Rock Mass Classification such as RMR and Q-system
• Drawing of geological sketch using AutoCad.
• Analyzing slope stability using DIPS, Swedge and RocTopple.
• Report writing.
